International Conference on Oil studies (ICOS) will be held in Baghdad in the Jadiriyah Campus within the College of Science, University of Baghdad at 20-22 December 2011.

It will be held under the slogan:-

Because of the interdisciplinary nature of the oil studies; the Departments of Geology, Chemistry and Biotechnology will organize this International Conference on Iraqi Oil Studies for geological, chemical and biological technologies (GeoBioChem Tech. 2011) in oil explorations and distillations.
